Synagogue

The biggest Synagogue in Europe was built between 1854 and 1859. Its characteristic romantic style is mixed with Byzantine and Maurice elements adding caracteristic eastern qualities to the monumental double-domed building. The Hungarian Jewish Museum can be found next to the Synagogue.
