Semmelweis Museum of Medical History


The Semmelweis Museum of Medical History named after Ignác Semmelweis, the Hungarian inventor of penicillin, operates in the house where he was born. Its permanent exhibition gives a taste of the artistic and the written relics of medicine from ancient times to the present.
